National Grid have informed us that they will be carrying out planned maintenance on their equipment supplying our Redditch datacentre.
As part of this maintenance window, we will take the opportunity to conduct a controlled simulation of a full mains power failure at the facility on Friday 22nd May 2026 from 15:00 , lasting for approximately 1 hour.
This test is designed to validate the resilience and performance of our backup power infrastructure under live conditions. Our generators and UPS systems will support the site throughout the exercise, and we have ample fuel reserves available onsite.
Our team will remain onsite for the entire duration of the test to closely monitor all systems and respond immediately to any issues should they arise.
No service interruption is expected; however, we are issuing this notification in the interest of transparency and operational best practice.
