    We did not need to use our temporary cooling, temperatures remained stable throughout the day. This incident has been resolved.

    Due to the adverse hot weather conditions today, this status is an AT RISK notification for elevated temperatures across our Midlands facilities.

    We have deployed temporary cooling units which are on standby in case of any issues, and our engineers are monitoring closely.

    Temperatures are currently stable across all sites.

    The engineer has conducted a number of tests and cleared the alarm, he believes the issue to be resolved

    We are continuing to work on a fix for this incident. The engineer has arrived and is working on the UPS it will be switched to bypass during this time.

    This alarm has sadly returned. We have our specialist contractor on their way.

    The UPS remains online and supporting load but the B feed in Velox2 should be considered as at risk

    Following component replacements and extensive testing today, we’re pleased to confirm that the issue has now been resolved. Velox2 has returned to full N+N UPS resilience, with no impact to customer load.

    Our specialist contractors are now performing further tests to debug each component in UPS B.

    The B side power feed should be considered as at risk at this time. Power feed A / UPS A is unaffected.

    The initial parts supplied for the UPS repair did not resolve the issue. Further replacement parts have now arrived, and we are continuing to work closely with our specialist manufacturer, who is providing additional engineering support. We are hoping to resolve the remaining fault today.

    Our specialist contractors are continuing to diagnose the alarm condition which has been ongoing overnight.

    They do not suspect an issue with the batteries after inspection, and are now awaiting delivery of replacement internal parts that they believe are causing the fault. These are expected to arrive shortly for swap out.

    No service impact is anticipated during this maintenance. However, services should be considered at risk for the duration of the maintenance window while the work is being carried out.

    Our engineering team will closely monitor the network throughout the activity and will take appropriate action should any unexpected issues arise.

    This maintenance is required to ensure the continued reliability and performance of the UPS systems, which support critical power resilience across both sites.

    During the maintenance windows, the UPS units will be switched to bypass. This means each feed will be at risk while the associated UPS maintenance is being carried out. Please note that both feeds will not be worked on at the same time.

    The work will include routine inspection, testing, and servicing of the UPS equipment. We do not anticipate any disruption to normal operations; however, there will be a reduced level of resilience while each UPS is in bypass.
